I don't consider this being 'mean' - I have to agree with Andy and vote 'no' - there has never been a time that NR has been in such a need for people that we have to compromise our principles. Regardless of who's friend applies to the guild, we have standards that we require. If we bend them for this fella (who I'm sure is a great guy) then why don't we just throw them all out? Why do we even have an application, why don't we just start accepting everyone? Unfortunately, this gentleman does not meet the requirements to be a member, and it really never should have come to a vote. Vuick - fix your handicap ASAP and update this post - once you have, you have my support.
